Rodiro is a footwear factory that sees the Sustainable Development of its activities in an Integrated Policy of Quality, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health, in a spirit of continuous improvement and effectiveness, committing itself to continually review its performance, to respond to the expectations of all stakeholders in its activities.
Rodiro's principles, set out below, constitute a reference for positioning and action towards its customers, surrounding communities and other interested parties, and are known and shared by all its Employees:
01
Sustainability
Sustainability at Rodiro runs through every stage of our production process — from the responsible sourcing of recycled and organic materials to the way we treat our people and our surrounding community. It is not a separate initiative, but a core principle of how we operate, guided by our Integrated Policy of Quality, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health, and reviewed continuously to meet the expectations of our clients, employees and partners.

Quality, Environment, and Safety Policy
At Rodiro – Footwear Factory, S.A., we are
committed to the sustainability of the entire
our production process, especially in the component environmental and social responsibility.
As a company of footwear production in Portugal, we recognize our
responsibility to minimize the environmental impacts of our operations and in promoting ethical business practices and sustainable.

02
Climate Change
We take an active role in mitigating the environmental impact of our operations, complying with all applicable environmental regulations and continuously monitoring our performance to prevent pollution. Across our value chain, we encourage our employees, suppliers and subcontractors to adopt climate-conscious practices, sharing our environmental policies so that everyone plays a part in reducing our collective impact.

03
Carbon Emissions
Reducing our carbon footprint is a strategic priority — supported by the solar energy generated on our factory rooftop and by our ongoing investment in renewable energy solutions. We are also expanding our electric vehicle fleet and promoting collective transport for our employees' daily commutes, lowering emissions both inside and outside our production facility.

04
Waste Management
We manage our resources responsibly, working to reduce solvent consumption and material waste throughout production. Our use of Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) and Organic Content Standard (OCS) certified materials ensures that recycled and organically sourced inputs are tracked and verified across our supply chain — turning waste reduction into a certified, measurable commitment rather than just a promise.

05
Community Impact
Rodiro takes seriously its responsibility toward the people and communities connected to our business. We uphold fair, safe and dignified working conditions for every employee, in line with International Labour Organization conventions and the principles of the SA8000 standard — and we extend these same standards of respect and ethical conduct to our suppliers and subcontractors.
