Agenda Description and Objectives
The integrated project “BioShoes4All – Innovation and training of footwear for a sustainable bioeconomy” includes 5 Pillars (P) of Intervention organized around concrete objectives, aiming at new bio and eco materials, products, processes, technologies or services, structured in 11 Initiatives (I) e 23 Measures (M), ensuring the intrinsic coerência and complementaridade of the proposed interventions.

Promote footwear transition to bioeconomy and sustainable circular economy
New bio and eco materials, components and production processes • Footwear, leather goods: functional, durable, circular, with less environmental impact
Advanced and digital production technologies (automation, robotization, in-situ recycling...)
Solutions for valorization of production waste and post-consumer products • Reduce the environmental impact of waste / its products (carbon, water, “fossil”, chemicals).
Implementation of industrial pilot lines, dissemination, demonstration of innovations
Promotion of training of files, development of contents, execution of actions
Consumer involvement and awareness promoting sustainable consumption
Wide promotion of footwear file in bioeconomy and circular economy (national and international)

The project was organized ensuring that each of the Pillars is multidisciplinary, but coherent, integrates well-linked Initiatives and Measures, culminating in the development of products and solutions with high technological content, innovation and with the potential for adoption and economic appreciation by the Cluster's companies, contributing to increase its productivity and international competitiveness.
